Training and development is an intregal part of working for Stockport NHS Foundation Trust to ensure we continually provide excellent patient care and treatment.

When you need help and support with any individual learning requirements or local training needs, the training team will be happy to assist you with your professional development.

The training and development team at Pinewood House are dedicated to your personal development. If you are looking to enhance your clinical skills or develop your management practice then we have ideas to help.

We currently offer:

• A scheduled programme of management and personal development courses, from half-day through to 15 month long programmes

• A design and delivery service for a whole range of team development needs

• A library of individual learning modules to help those learners who prefer to learn at their own pace

• Advisory services to support personal and career development planning, including the expertise to administer a whole range of profiling tests

• An accredited NVQ in Care and Administration Centre

• Easy access to the library with its collection of books, journals, videos and databases.

To support staff in an ever more demanding world, we have designed new programmes and new initiatives to put your development at the top of the agenda.
