Library Details

The Multidisciplinary Education Centre Library is situated on the first floor of Pinewood House. The library has a first-rate collection of books and journals along with a quiet study area and access to computers with printing and photocopying facilities. Trained library staff are available to assist you.

We also have non-clinical books, including management resources and a fiction collection. The majority of electronic resources are available 24/7 with an Athens username and password.

Opening hours

Monday – Thursday: 9am – 5.30pm
Friday: 9am – 4.30pm
We are closed on bank holidays and weekends.

Books for return can be left in the Book Return Box situated in the Internet Cafe by the staff restaurant. The box is secure and you will be emailed or phoned to say your return has been received

Library membership

You can join the library if you are working or on placement at an NHS trust within Greater Manchester. You will need to come to the library with your NHS ID badge or a recent payslip and a completed membership form to join.
